Up next we have a stunning 5 track EP from dutch musician and producer Frezel. After breaking into the scene with his track 'Morning Melody' on the Traum Schallplatten compilation 'Tour De Traum VIII', Frezel has gone from strength to strength, releasing a 3 track EP on Dutch label Influenza Music before creating the 5 hard-hitting cuts we are proud to present to you here. The overarching theme of the EP is deep melodic techno with a clear intention for the dancefloor. Think hypnotic melodies, majestic chord progressions, thick textures and intricate percussion, all the while with twisted pumping basslines running underneath. 'Nature's Groove' takes a slightly different direction to the rest of the EP, entering the realms of Tech House with its stripped back groove and funky bassline, but stays true to Frezel's manifesto of clever percussion and complex musical soundscapes. Frezel is clearly one to keep an eye on, with these 5 tracks all showing his clear talent for creating what is essentially dancefloor music, but with enough complexity and musicality that it can be enjoyed just as much outside of the club.
